2 Days National Level Cisco Networking Security Workshop at Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering

I-Medita is a training institute which provides industry oriented skilled training to students and believes in imparting knowledge to everyone possible. The keen interest of the students of Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering, Karjat in Cisco Networking Workshop was one of the memorable experiences in the workshop so far conducted by us. Student coordinators and teacher worked as an excellent pair in making all the arrangements done for the workshop and even for the registration process.
The Cisco Networking Security workshop was conducted on 29 and 30 September, 2016 training a huge number of students.
Workshop Day 1
On the 29th Sept 2016, I-Medita teamed up with Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering, Karjat to organise a Cisco Networking Security workshop. The day started with the speech of the HOD of the college to addressing all the present students and speaking about why the topic of Security in Networking is so important and then handing over the mike to our professionally trained trainer. There was session where all the basics of Networking were covered including all the topics and giving details about the topics needed for the next day of the workshop.
- Area Networks ( LAN, MAN, WAN, PAN)
- CSMA/CD technology and topologies.
- OSI Ref Model and TCP/IP Ref Model.
- Fast Ethernet and installation of physical components for Wi-Fi.
- Networking, coding of devices, Subnet Masking.
- IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and coding.
Workshop Day 2
The last day of the workshop 30th Sept 2016 where all the theory sessions were put into play that is the practical day of the workshop. All were given a virtual kit which was the virtual guide of the students. Students performed on the kit the various problems made understand by our trainers. We had our trainer and assistant trainer to help out every student.
Doubt clearing session was one of the most spellbinding sessions. Where the doubts of the students actually showed up the level of curiosity in students in Networking and even our trainers were happy to solve their queries.
Then the last challenge was the final test of networking was all of them were given a problem and then fastest three were chosen. All the students geared up for the test, thus making it an enthralling experience for all present.
Overall it was as good experience, thus adding another success story in our diary.
