Cisco has revised CCIE Security from version 4.0 to Version 5.0 and many changes have been done in the Examination. Now new version 5.0 course content includes total 6 domains. These six domains were added to increase the logical structure of topics to align towards Cisco Security Solutions.

Six Domains added in Version 5.0 Are:

  • Advanced Threat Protection and Content Security
  • Secure Connectivity and Segmentation
  • Identity Management, Information Exchange, and Access
  • Infrastructure Security, Virtualization, and Automation
  • Evolving Technologies
