Importance of CCNA and Computer Networking

Why choose computer networking field ?
The most basic task of Computer Networking is to connect people so that they can share resources. According to World Bank, till 2013, only 40% out of 7 billion people on earth are connected via Internet in which only 9.8% people have high-speed connection. So, to connect the rest of world and to manage the connected world, Network Engineers are required. A lot of major and small companies hire network engineers to connect or troubleshoot their network. Computer Networking is a fast growing and challenging field that can give students a perfect career. That’s why one should join this domain.
Importance of CCNA and Computer Networking?
We might not know the true value of one second but some companies do. For example, Amazon has calculated that a page load slowdown of just one second could cost it $1.6 billion in sales each year. So to overcome that problem companies require candidates who have basic knowledge of networks. Who know how to configure Networking devices and candidates who can troubleshoot basic connectivity problems in less time? That’s where CCNA comes in.
Cisco is a well-known vendor of networking devices and most companies use Cisco devices in their network. That gave Cisco an idea to create an exam: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate). Passing this exam puts you one step ahead of others. Cisco CCNA Certification proves that you’ve got what it takes to create and maintain a small scale network.
There are a lot tracks in CCNA like Routing and Switching, Security, Wireless, Voice, DC, Architect and some more. But no matter what track you choose, you have to do CCNA R&S because here you learn the basics. And one more thing, Network Engineering is not the only field you can go after CCNA. It’s just a beginning of a long journey. Take a look,

As we have mentioned that companies want candidates who have knowledge of networking plus some experience of working on real devices as well. We, at I-Medita, focus on both theory and practical so that students don’t lack anything while facing interviews. We have focused on “more practical but enough theory” approach. Students will have hands on experience on real Cisco Devices: Routers and Switches. They will be able to connect those devices and create a small network. Our labs will be available 24X7. If any student wants to practice on devices, they can come anytime.
Hello sir,
I just wanted to know if you provide projects for final year? Are any projects included in this training?
Dear Rahul,
Yes the training is totally project based, all students will be working on projects and these projects can be submitted during your minor and major projects as well.
How to launch a private cloud, how to manage big data, how to install and use Hadoop to manage big data, how to analyse data will be some of the projects.
Please feel free to speak to Mr. Saurabh at 09958336989 for more details.
Really a good stuff, thanks for sharing great information in this blog. I have noticed that you have mentioned all things about CCNA & networking Great Effort.
