Industrial Visit at I-Medita, Gurgaon from Amity University Students dated 28-29 March 2016

Recently, an Industrial Visit was conducted at I-Medita, Gurgaon Networking Labs by students of Amity University, Gurgaon on March 28-29, 2016. Over 50 students(in two batches) of Computer Science Department visited I-Medita Networking Labs and were introduced to the world of Networking and Big Data.

The motto of this Industrial visit was to give practical insights about Networking and booming Big Data Industry and to discuss how they can start their high flying careers in these domains.

I-Medita has Cisco Networking Labs which consist of large number of Racks consisting Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc. Students visited these labs and interacted with our experts. During this Industrial Visit, details about Big Data – Hadoop and their industrial practices were also discussed amongst students.

The visit was initiated by Mr. Sugandh – an Expert in Networking Domain. He shared deep practical insights about the role of networking in today’s industries, the functionalities of networking devices like Routers, Switches, firewalls etc. in communication and the working of Data Centers, etc. Demonstration on Real time Networks was also shown to students.
