An Investment in Knowledge pays the best Interest
Learning something new is always interesting and it also requires a lot of patience. Networking is a huge domain and has many subfields and with proper training, one can be specialized in the required domain. I-Medita Learning Solutions provides training services to students in the field of Cisco Networking with other programs.
We feel proud that till now, I-Medita has teamed up with so many colleges in India and organized successful Industrial Visits, Workshops and Faculty Training Programs which has made us encouraged to work more on these projects. One such Industrial Visit was arranged recently for the students of the College Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Akrudi.
I-Medita Collaborated with Dr.D.Y.Patil College of Engineering to organize an Industrial visit for the students on February 17, 2017. Over 45 students came at I-Medita Training Centre with the eagerness to learn about Networking.
Mr. Sugandh Kansal took their theory session describing them on what is networking, its uses, its future prospects and its evolution.
The topics covered during Industrial Visit were
- Area Networks ( LAN, MAN, WAN, PAN)
- CSMA/CD technology and topologies.
- OSI Ref Model and TCP/IP Ref Model.
- Fast Ethernet and installation of physical components for Wi-Fi.
- Networking, coding of devices, Subnet Masking.
- IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and coding.
As I-Medita has Maharashtra Biggest Cisco Networking Lab full of latest technology routers and switches, hands-on sessions always turn out to be the most interesting sessions in any Industrial Visit, and same happened in this one. So, after the theory, students were shown the lab demonstrations where all the concepts taught in theory were put to use.
At the end, the question and answer session took place wherein students came up with different doubts and our trainers were happy to help and solve their queries.
Thus at the end, students were given some snacks and ended the industrial visit with a smile on everyone’s face.
